First Visit to NYP

First day back in Singapore yesterday, but never went office, cos was attending an SITF event @ NYP. After unpacking my luggage and 摸摸 a bit here and there, only slept at about 3+ on thursday. But had to get up earlier than usual cos meeting the rest at YCK MRT at 820am. D, XY and YP were also attending the event, and I'm suppose to meet them at the MRT. But I was late by a few minutes, even though I was staying the nearest... :p.

1st half of the event was talk by several speakers on the current Web Service concepts and frameworks in a Lecture Theatre. Feels very much like going back to the good old days, attending lectures in LT... Had a little tea break in between. Overall the talk is very informative but the organisation left a lot to be desired.

After Lunch, got hands-on session on the stuff that we had listened to in the morning. D, XY and me were in the IBM workshop, but YP was in the Sun one. It was like doing a lab. But at least I get exposed to some new development tools from IBM, it was pretty interesting. We were let off at around 430pm.
