Mahjong - Malaysian Style

Played the Malaysian style mahjong over the weekend. This game only requires 3 players instead of the usual 4. Only 1 color is required for this game, plus the 飞 and 人头, altogether there were 84 tiles. This means that each player will only make 14 blocks in front of them.

All the basic mahjong rules applies here, but a minimum of 6番 is required to game. Sometimes, you got a winning hand but was unable to do so due to not enough 番. Other times, the game seems very fast. Its like racing against time to get enough 番 to game. There was even once when I managed to win a 地胡.

And I think this game can train up your skill, especially with the 飞, or joker, around. It can be used as any tiles, thus making it easier to game, and it gives you a lot of combination to do so. I shall not bore you down with all the rules, which you may get it here. But its definitely worth playing this style of mahjong for a change.
