Singapore Fireworks Celebrations @ Marina Bay (18 August)

Got a pair of free tickets from mm to the event. There was like some 27,000 people in there, where almost all the seats were filled up. The seats were wet due to a heavy rain in the morning.

The display was done like a pyro musical, with the music and fireworks together. The whole display lasted about 15 minutes (although it takes 1.5 hours for me to get there due to the road condition). Nonetheless, a round of applause, companied by loud cheers, reverberated throughout the arena when the firework display concluded.

There were still some stalls (food, games and other stuffs) around which we could explore after the show. As many people were heading for the exits, it would take quite a while before the whole crowd clears.

Donut Factory

Finally got my hands on the donuts. But only queued for 10+ minutes when it was my turn... :D. Maybe it was because it was early in the morning (at 11am).

PS: The strawberry was smudged over to the other donut before I could take a photo...:P

Blue Dragon

Finally bought the game after it was out for months (although the English version was only released in recent months). This item was on my wishlist for this year. Time to take out the console again... :P

Happy Birthday Singapore

It's the nation's 42nd birthday today. And this year, the NDP will be held at the Marina Bay, after the National Stadium was closed earlier. I won't be attending the event though (didn't get the tickets again this year).

Still let us wish for a prosperous year ahead. Happy Birthday Singapore!

Little Baldric

Congrats to Uncle Wee & Peiyun for the birth of Little Baldric today.

And credits to a TP, who literally stopped the traffic and escorted them all the way to the hospital for the delivery. This after Uncle Wee was caught speeding along the expressway.
