Taiwan Itinerary At a Glance: Day 1

Finally found time to do some updating. Had been back for a few days, but it still took me a while to unpack all my stuff. And after a long break, its been pretty hard to get going again (but what to do...). To cut things short, I'll describe the happenings in Taiwan in points and put up photos to give more details. Here is day 1...

Took a flight from Singapore and transit in Hong Kong.

Waiting for flight to Taiwan at HKIA.

Finally reached CKS International Airport.

And waiting to cross the custom.

Now we were waiting for the transport to our hotel at Taoyuan.

After settlling down at the hotel, we took a bus from Taoyuan to Taipei and walk to Ximending from Taipei Train Station. Along the way, saw some people 倒扁 and a red car that was smashed.

We met SW and his colleague for dinner at 西门町.

Walked around the area after dinner. It was really crowded, especially since it was a weekend today.

Gonna catch the last bus back to Taoyuan but went to the wrong bus terminal.

Finally went to the right one and bought the bus tickets
