Sending Off

Woke up on Sunday, and found that it was raining... Continue working on the clip for E after breakfast... Then messaged S to see what time to meet for to send E off... Then received a call from S, saying that someone found her handphone and was intending to return her. She sounded ecstatic (and of course she should...). So I meet up with her earlier (as YM got something on), and accompanied her to retrieve back her handphone at Sim Lim Square. Since she was so lucky to get her phone back, we all decided to buy 4-D to commemorate this... :p

Then meet up with YM at the same place, as he wanted to buy a bag for his new laptop from the StarHub MOL promotion... However never bought anything in the end... As we are still very early, we went to a pool parlour @ IOI Plaza to pass our time... The place is called Pool Junction, and it looked more classy than the other pool parlours that I used to go... Each of us played 2 games and I've won both mine (hehe...). We left in less than an hour and I've noticed that the lady at the counter put the que balls into some device, presumably for cleaning them.

It was still raining but we walked towards Bugis Junction to take a bus to Geylang for dinner. However, we didn't exactly take the correct service number and had to walk a distance to Lorong 9 from the bus stop where we alighted. We seated at the coffeeshop where the Beef Hor Fun stall is located, and ordered our food. Me and YM ordered a Beef Hor Fun each while S ordered the normal seafood Hor Fun. All of us also shared a plate of Fried Oyster and Chilli Frog (ordered from the stall across the road). By the end of dinner though, all of us was full and don't feel like moving liao... And to think that we had wanted to eat somemore at Yong He...

Sat at the stall for quite a while before finally making a move towards Kallang MRT, and it was still raining as we were walking. Then a cab passed by us, which we hopped in and made our way to the airport. Along the way, YM, who was seated at the front, fell asleep and looked like he was going to fall over to the driver's side (if not for the fastened seat belt)... And the driver was constantly looking precariously at YM... We reached our destination just before 8pm, which was still way too early for E's flight at 1158pm.

And so the 3 of us walk walk shop shop at Terminal 2... Most of the time when I come to the airport, I am usually rushing to check in... Went to check out the last MRT train timing (FYI, its at 2318) and then went over to Terminal 1... This time went to check out my last bus timing (which was at 0000) at the basement. Then decided to take a break at Jollibean, and ordered a not-so-tasty beancurd...

By this time, E had messaged YM that she had arrived at the airport... So we told her our location and asked her to come meet us when she's done with the check in... However as we waited, there was still no sign of her... As it turned out, she was looking for us on the other side... She was with 3 other friends, one of which I had met during one of the badminton sessions. Then her friends left after taking some photos, and we went down to BK for a drink. There, we showed her the slideshow that I had made for her... We took our drinks and chatted a while more, then headed towards the departure hall, where more photos were taken... And so she was on her way to the States... Good bye E, and take care...
