Played the Malaysian style mahjong over the weekend. This game only requires 3 players instead of the usual 4. Only 1 color is required for this game, plus the 飞 and 人头, altogether there were 84 tiles. This means that each player will only make 14 blocks in front of them.
And I think this game can train up your skill, especially with the 飞, or joker, around. It can be used as any tiles, thus making it easier to game, and it gives you a lot of combination to do so. I shall not bore you down with all the rules, which you may get it here. But its definitely worth playing this style of mahjong for a change.
Saw this restaurant while on a bus. Had tried a few other korean restaurant and suddenly thought of coming here for a dinner, and to celebrate V's birthday as well. FL and S dropped by the office then with V and I, the four of us took a bus here.
This restaurant is at Upper Thompson Road. They have seats on two storeys. There were no more tables on the ground floor when we arrived, so we had to go upstairs. It was quite warm upstairs initially as they had just turned on the air-con. We ordered a pancake, rice cake, BBQ pork and a kimchi fried rice, very much the same dish when we went to Togi korean restaurant the other time. All the dishes are spicy dish yet again. S thought Togi's food was better, and I think so too, though the BBQ pork seems nice. StupidGenius came after the food was served and his office was so near!
Went for ice cream at Icekimo which is just a few minutes walking distance from Auntie Kim's. Came here only after seeing my SIL's blog entry.
We ordered a lot of ice cream plus got a free sundae from one of the coupons in the Popular Food Guide. That makes up a total of 6 scoops of ice cream. They have a lot of different flavors of ice cream, including horlicks and chempedak. Still we had no trouble finish them all... :D
Went to Botak Jones at Clementi for dinner after a 1-hour badminton session at Delta Sports Hall. Had seen a newspaper article on this stall some time ago and wanted to come since then, but only able to realize it today.
This is their third and newest outlet, which opened its door not so long ago. Thier first outlet was at, of all places, Tuas industrial area.
There weren't as many people as I'd thought, which meant that we didn't have to wait too long for our orders to come. I ordered a US smoked turkey sausage with bun, while S ordered the cajun chicken plate. StupidGenius ordered a fish & chips. The serving comes in a pretty big portion. I like the others' order more than the sausage, especially the chicken. But there was a strange taste in the fries, which I think is due to the chilli powder all over it.
Really had my fill after the meal. Don't mind going to the other outlet at AMK which is nearer my home.
PSI reading hits a high of 140+ on Saturday. Though it seems to get better this few days liao. But then still see the people around me starting to fall sick. Was it cause by the haze I don't know...
Anyway take care everyone...

Really live up to the title. No happy ending but still it something couple should go watch IMO. It depicts how a couple could really break up because of certain events that escalate into an unreturnable outcome. So don't take anything for granted.
Got a surprise from a friend today, a belated birthday present... 好感动啊,感动得像要掉泪 T_T...
Seriously though, thanks for the gift... You know who you are... :D
