Training @ Oracle University

Have been attending a training course @ Oracle University at Suntec for the last 3 days. And a very typical day goes like this:

Exiting the lift and going into Oracle Univesity.

Going to Oracle University

Passing through the sign at the entrance.

Break time! We had 2 breaks, one in the morning, and one in afternoon. Choose between this 2 coffee machine. At my peak, I had 4 cups of coffee during a single day. Even an expresso couldn't curb the sleeping monster.

And if you are bored, can take some time to rest and enjoy view out from the window (though this is an overcast view).

It's Time to Vote

It's confirmed. I will get a chance to vote in this coming election. When the news reported that the opposition is coming to contest in my GRC over the past week, I was still apprehensive about it. So this comes as a bit of a surprise.

But the opposition is sending an entirely new (and young) team here, all of which are first timers. And two of them are younger than me! So I wonder how they would campaign for their cause and garner the votes. Or as they said, are they just coming here to give the residents a chance to vote?

Lunch @ Pan Pacific Hotel

Went lunch at Pan Pac today :D. The buffet here got quite a wide choice of food, from sashimi, steak, prata, siew mai, and even chicken rice. Went for 2 rounds of food..

Lunch at Pan Pacific Hotel

Then had ice cream again here, after having ice cream at B & J's free cone day yesterday. And the ice cream here taste pretty good as well. Had a rather heavy lunch... :P

Villarreal 0 Arsenal 0

Lehmann Saves

Not a good game for the Gunners, but a great result as it was enough to seal their place into the UCL Final. Our hero of the day was no doubt Lehmann, the new German number 1. It was his last minute penalty save that prevent the game from going into extra time (makes me sweat sia...).

Bring on the Ronaldinho and gang...

Free Cone Day

Ben and Jerry's is having a free cone day today. So D, S, XY and me went to Suntec for the free ice cream and had lunch at the same time. The queue was quite long when we arrive. We decided to queue for it anyway. At least it was quite fast, waited for only around 10 minutes before I got my ice cream. I got the crunchy monkey, which was my favourite banana flavour. StupidGenius, who was off for the day, also came down specially for the ice cream. However he was later than us, and we got our ice cream even before he arrived.

Went for lunch after this at the food court. Then went for a second round of ice cream. And this time, I got the Strawberry Cheesecake.

Active Sunday

Went for soccer in the morning. Its been another one month plus since I've last played liao. So went to join StupidGenius and YS for their soccer session. Played for one and half hours but did not have a good game. Most of the time was chasing shadows, sibei jialat.

Had brought all my skating stuff to the field as I wanted to go to ECP directly after soccer. But darn, the washing point near the field can't be used. So bo bian, gotta go to ECP without washing my boots (and myself). At least theres a straight bus to Marine Parade. Upon arriving there, SG wanted to grab a bite at the hawker center. And so we went to the hawker center, where SG ate porridge while I ordered a drink.

It was almost 1pm, the time which we were supposed to meet for skating. But then we were still at the hawker center, then SW called SG to say he had reached. Then SW asked us to da bao chicken rice for him. By the time I bought his food, it was raining cats and dogs already. Then V also called to say she had reached. So the 2 of us brave through the rain and walked over to ECP. Arrived at ECP within 5 minutes but only saw SW. Sat at the outside of Mac while SW had his chicken rice. Then I called V, who was at the other side.

As it was raining so heavily, we decided to go SW's house for mahjong instead. So the four of us took a cab down to his place. Upon reaching, me and SG took a bath 1st (at different bathrooms), while SW entertained V. Then went downstairs for makan as V had not taken lunch. By the time we came back again and get started, it was already 3pm liao. Decided to play only half a round as me and SG need to meet S to go visit GC later. We played at a rate of 3/6.

We were running late and the last game was coming to an end. However, if no one had won the game, then we would need to play another game. SG got a big hand for this game and discarded an 二万 at his last turn. So I follow suit (since he couldn't have won on this tile). In the end no one wins, and he blamed me for not throwing the tile earlier. But why should I do that when I was waiting for my ka long. SW was the big winner for this session, at a grand total $13, while I profited $4. SG, who hasn't won at the mahjong table this year, was again the big loser.

Then went to JE MRT to meet S. We were supposed to meet at 515pm but due to that extra game that we played, we were late. By the time, we reached Orchard, it was already past 6pm liao. Meet up with D, Irene, and XY at Paragon to shop for some gift for GC. So we, along with DT, went up and finally get to see little Megan.

D and DT left, while the rest of us went for dinner after the visit. Went to Pepper Lunch at basement of Isetan Scotts for dinner. The novelty at this restaurant is that you need to cook the food yourself. I think the steak that I've ordered (cooked) is not too bad. But S and XY would prefer the food to be served cooked instead. Went for some shopping at Isetan after dinner. Then S, SG, XY and me went to Mac so more drinks.

New Life

Let us put our hands together and welcome little Megan, who was born last evening. GC had only just went on leave on thursday, and now she had delivered already. We had gone to visit her this evening.

Teambuilding @ Sofitel

Went to Sofitel Palm Resort for a teambuilding trial session today. They had sent my company an invitation to come for a free evaluation. So the ESC members, all except JN and SF, came for this trial.

Had to wake up early to meet the rest for breakfast at 7am. Slept for only 2 hours after coming home late from KTV. The transport to Sofitel was supposed to leave at 8am and we were the 1st group to arrive at the boarding point at about 745am. However the bus did not leave until about 830am.

Arrived at the resort slightly after 930am. Had an opening address before the trainer from FOCUS Adventure showed a presentation regarding the teambuilding games and objectives. After this we had some icebreaker games, before the main teambuilding games. These games were indoor. Break for lunch at noon.

More icebreaker and energizer after lunch. Then it was outdoor games. There are like 10 different stations in the Low Element course (this look a bit like the SOC in the army). The trainers explained to us each of the station, although we got to try 2 of the stations which did not require too much strength. After which the groups did try on some of the less physical stations. The game ended at 330pm and later went for a site inspection to look at the condition of the hotel rooms and the other facilities.

We decided fall out directly from the resort as the chartered bus was coming back by the second link. So we asked the hotel reception to help us called for 2 taxis to bring us out of here to City Square. By the time we reached City Square, it was around dinner time already. But we went to Secret Recipe to have some cakes for a break before the main meal. Then went to a Jap restaurant at 3rd level for our dinner.

Head back to Singapore after dinner. Managed to clear the Malaysia custom pretty fast but there was a jam at the bus lane near the Woodlands Checkpoint. Apparently, there was a petrol leakage from one of the tour buses. Stuck on the bus for about 45 minutes before we decided to get down and walk to the checkpoint. Finally managed to clear the Singapore custom at about 915pm.

D, DT, XY and me took a bus to the MRT station while the (<-- SG) rest (<-- S) got a ride from Irene.

PS's Birthday

PS's birthday falls on last sunday. But I got an impression that his birthday is on Friday. So we all (incl DT, S, XY and me) decided to ask him out for dinner, as a belated birthday celebration. He requested to go to the Fatty Wing Seong Restaurant at Burlington Square. Bought him a wallet as a birthday present at his request.

We were supposed to meet PS at the restaurant at 730pm, but DT was caught up with some work and we had to wait for him. Left office at around 720pm in the end. Reached the restaurant at about 745pm. We really jialat sia, already celebrate his birthday belatedly liao and then still let him wait for us for dinner... :p

After dinner went KTV at Oriental Partyworld, where StupidGenius also joined us. As he was coming in later, I asked him to buy a slice of cake for PS. I actually got some cakes left over from the afternoon's Frutti Day. But we cant present this to him lar. Then halfway through our K session, we sang a birthday song for PS and present the gift that we bought to him. The session ended at 1+ am and DT took the trouble to send everyone of us home as it was raining at that time. (Think we all really appreciate that... :))

ESC Lunch

Went for the ESC lunch today, the first time this year. The ESC members for this year is D, Irene, JN, S, SF, XY and me. Irene had come back from client side for this lunch. I've Missed the last one as I was still in Brunei at that time. We went to the 川馆子 at Purvis Street. We ordered ala carte dishes and most of them were spicy.

Food for ESC Lunch
The dishes that we ordered

The food looks decent. Its not the spiciness but one of the spices in most of the dishes that I dislike. I accidentally took one bite at that spice and it has a very bad after taste, a bit sour and a bit bitter. And it makes my tongue a bit numb. Worst of all, the after taste lasted very long and whatever I ate after that were tasteless (for quite a while). But overall, I think the food are not too bad.

Met KY at Bras Basah while we made our way back to the office.

Advert in MRT Station

Advert in MRT Station

Saw this in the MRT station today. The crossword puzzle was blank the day before at the same station. I thought that someone had filled it up. But on a closer look, all the posters in the station were filled up. Guess they had changed it all.

Toure Celebrates

Half way there, but its not over yet. At least got a slight advantage to carry over to Spain for next week. Could have won by a bigger margin though, hope it'll be enough to see them through.

Gathering @ The Mind Cafe

Organised a gathering with my secondary school classmates today. Quite surprised that I have taken the initiative to do that. The turnout was not too fantastic, but at least it was easier to find a place for fewer people.

We went to the Mind Cafe @ boat quay today. I had wanted to bring them to Pitstop Cafe, but the place was booked for an event for today. Meet up with the rest at Raffles Place MRT at 7pm. I was the first to arrive. Had wanted to walk here but as it was raining, I took the train instead. Pat came followed by Charlene. Finally SP came with her boyfriend and another colleague. She said YY would be late, so we made our way to the cafe.

Mind Cafe @ Boat Quay

This outlet is smaller compared to the one at Prinsep Street, which I went the other time. The place is even smaller than Pitstop Cafe IMO. The layout looks similar though. There were no oneother customers around when we came (and also when we left). And only 2 staff was around to serve the customers.

Games @ Mind Cafe

Game collection also looked quite small, compared to the other outlet.

Halli Galli

This is the 1st game we played while waiting for our dinner. Its called Halli Galli. I think its quite similar to Snorta, except that now the objective is to collect as many cards as possible. Each player took turns to turn a card. Each card has a random number of the same pattern on it. When there are exactly 5 of the same pattern showing on the table, the first player to ring the bell will collect all the opened cards on the table.

Wits and Wagers

Break for dinner before continuing to the 2nd game, where YY and Paul came. This game is called Wits & Wagers. Everyone writes an answer (which is always a number) and these are arranged in order from the smallest to the largest. Then everyone will proceed to place bet (in terms of chips) on the answer they think is correct. The one which is closest to the correct answer will win the bet. There are a total of 7 questions. For the 1st 6 questions, the maximum bet is 10 points. But at the last question, everyone is allowed to "show hand". Pat won the last bet and in the process got the most point at the end of the game.

Pretty Ladies
Ladies enjoying themselves at Wits & Wagers

Telepaths

Our last game of the day was Telepaths. This game had to be played in teams (a pair to be exact). At their turn, each team would roll a die to determine which side of the card to look at (either words or picture). From there the players will try to anticipate what their teammates will associate with various pictures and words, and match the answers. The number of correct matches will determine the number of steps to move on the board. The 1st team to reach the goal wins. YY and Charlene were the winner for this game.

Any Telepathy
Oh no, we don't have telepathy...

In between the games, they served us the brownies from the set meal that we've ordered. It was very nice, though may be a bit sweet for those who do not like sweet stuff.

Finally, took a group photo just before we left.

My New Shirt

My New Shirt

This was the shirt that I wore to work today. It was a bit different from what I normally wear, which was plain polo or T-shirt with jeans. I bought this shirt during my recent trip to Bangkok. And this is the first time I wear it.

And these are some of the comments that I've got from my colleagues:

D: "You looked very bright today."

SW: "You going to the Beach?"

UT: "You just came back from Hawaii?"

DT: "Wah!"

HT: "You working part-time at Sentosa driving buses?"

BK: "Why today you wore so flowery..."

BTW, this shirt is not as bright and flashy as the other 2 shirts that I've bought together with this. Wonder what their reaction would be if I had worn the other shirt... :P

Dinner @ Fengshan Center

Was stranded at Marine Parade Mac after the skating session was cut short by a heavy downpour. Then was thinking where to go for dinner. Had wanted to go Still Road for a Crabby meal but there were too few of us. So in the end, decided to go to Fengshan Center at Bedok instead. We had come here during our last night cycling session.

The 肉挫面 here is very nice from the last time we tried, but they only sell soup noodle. Remember that we were saying to try out the dried one from the other stall just beside, but then still order from the same stall in the end. We had a sumptuous dinner yet again.

Grilled Sotong
This grilled sotong is not too bad.

Fried Prawn Cracker
五项虾饼 taste only so so.

Satay
Ordered from a chinese satay stall, but can't differentiate between pork and chicken sticks.

Mince Meat Noodle
Only one spoonful of the mince meat noodle left. But somehow this time didn't taste as good as the last time.

Probably will come back here again to try out the other food, especially the chicken wing, which FL say is good.

Closing Shop

Wanted to go Boardgame Paradice at Marine Parade, after a pre-mature stop to our skating session today due to bad weather. But found that the shop had already closed down. It was only opened for like 3 months?!

Boardgame Paradice Closed Down

My membership card, which was applied when I came the last time (the one and only time), still haven't used yet. And I had just collected it a few weeks ago...

My Boardgame Paradice Membership Card

Same Old Saturday

It was Saturday again, and it seems that I've been doing the same thing on consecutive Saturdays, just that the order is different. Have played mahjong then went KTV last Saturday. This week is the reverse.

Meet up with FL, S and SW at Chinatown for lunch at 130pm before going to K. I had a rather late breakfast only one hour earlier as I had wake up pretty late in the morning. But still ordered quite a lot of food at the hawker center, and managed to finish them.

As we were walking to Oriental Plaza after our meal, we met Dorman, the ex-MIS guy at ECQ. He was also going to KTV, albeit at 茶人之家. We stopped and chatted for a while, in the process, he gave us his name card.

At the K, it was the first time I came with SW, and he always chose those "hard to sing" songs IMO, like 王力宏's songs. Beside this, it was the usual mix of songs that we all dedicated. After the 3 hour plus session of 飚歌,my throat a bit buay tahan liao.

Decided to go SW's place for MJ after K. Went da bao some drinks and tidbits from a convenient store and also got some egg tarts and puffs from Tong Heng Confectionary. FL said their egg tart is delicious. Took a cab down to SW's place after this.

SW's is not as empty as he had described, though there were not much furniture as well. Indeed one of the rooms is used as a store room. We had to teach FL the basics of the game as she was still not familiar with all the rules yet. Also had a trial run of 4 games. Took a break for some food after that. Then SW took out some old photos to show us. Those photos were taken while he was studying in Wales and working in China.

By the time we settled down and got into the real game, it was already past 9pm. As FL is a "new hand", we played 3/6 one-quarter rate, half of what we usually play. Game play was rather slow as FL was still getting herself acquainted with the game. And this was pretty tiring for the rest of us, who were not used to this type of pace. Nonetheless, we had to train more MJ kakis so that we will always have enough people to play the game as and when... :D.

After some 4 hours later, we had finally completed one round of play, by which everyone was exhausted liao. The final tally was that S and me won $8, while FL only paid $2.50 as 学费 for the trouble. SW lost the most, even though he had changed into his 汪旺 red T-shirt before the start of play.

Shared a cab home with FL and S at the end of the day.

Sudden Surge in Traffic

As I was updating this blog site, found that there is a sudden surge in the traffic to this site... Strange phenomenon (wonder why?!). These access came from all parts of the world. And suddenly the number of pageloads doubled within this 1 hour plus...

I think when I update my blog, its easier to get accessed when people scroll through the blogger's blog using the "NEXT BLOG" button.

Movie @ Cathay Cineplex

Went to watch a movie at the newly opened Cathay Cineplex near Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The building still smells very new. The whole building is 6-storey high but only the cinema is opened.

The theatre that we went to is, I think one of the bigger one out of the 7 here (not incl The Picture House). It has a special name called "The Grand Cathay". But on the movie stub, its indicate as theatre 1. So we gotta ask around before we knew this.

Ushers were employed here, though not sure only for this theatre or for all of them. The place is very big compared to the other ones that I've been to. And the gap between each row of seats is very wide, at least enough for my legs to move around with even if I had put a haversack on the floor. A pity the handrest is not movable though... :P

Heard from StupidGenius that HP signals were blocked within the theatre. But I was still able to receive SMS from my friend. Wonder if this only happens in certain theatre or what.

Back to the movie itself, watched "Eight Below". The main cast for this movie are the dogs instead. And all I can say is its certainly worth 2 hours of your time watching this movie.

DT's Birthday Celebration

Birthday Boy
The Birthday Boy

Today is DT's birthday. So we asked him out for a dinner last night to celebrate for him. Went shopping for his present during lunch time with S. Luckily he got lunch appointment for the day liao, else how to shop for his present if he tag along... :p (maybe he can then tell us what he wants though)... Anyway we got him a document bag.

We went for dinner at a Japanese Restaurant at Cuppage Plaza. The building got quite a few Jap restaurant but most of them were full already. These restaurants were frequented by the Japanese expats here in Singapore. We went into one on level 2 in the end. The food here was reasonably priced compared with some of the other restaurants here in the building (but of course cannot be compared to those we had in Brunei la...). At least the food was quite nice (even though I thought the sashimi serving was very small), but the service left a lot to be desire. Six of us, D, DT, FL, S, XY and me came from office while StupidGenius joined us later. The restaurant rented quite a few shop spaces on the same level.

SG suggested to go for a drinking session at Ice Cold Beer at the Peranakan House in Somerset, where D left but PS joined us. But it was too crowded there and we couldn't find a seat. Then DT suggested going to Roomful of Blues at Prinsep Street area. SG and I walked down from Somerset while the rest took DT's car. Surprisingly we arrived earlier then the rest!

We ordered some beers and started chatting. The snack (peanuts and crackers) here was free-flow and I was taking quite a lot of them to make up for the light dinner... :D... Then SG suggested ordering a bottle of Chivas, which I have some reservations that we could finish it up. We had troubles doing so during our last drinking session (refer to SG's entry here for the details), though I can't remember which type of liquor we had ordered then.

We started playing finger guessing game in which the loser will drink. Everyone took turns to drink. Then breaking up into smaller groups, some played dai dee and others continue to play finger guessing... Soon the whole bottle of Chivas was finished. I think all of us were having fun over here. But at least the after effect from the drinking this time was not as bad as the previous time.

Group Photo

Then DT sent FL, XY, PS and me home while S and SG took the Night Rider home.

Such a Coincident

The following pics were taken at the carpark of International Plaza. Notice any similarity in the two pics below?

Car 1

Car 2

The two cars were only a few parking lots away (less than 5) and the car plate numbers (the 4 digits) were the same. And the model of the car were pretty similar as well. This is such a coincident.

Perhaps can go buy 4D with the numbers over the weekend.

Bloggers' Night @ Pitstop

Went to Pitstop Cafe once again yesterday. They are having Fetish Evenings on weekdays, i.e. different themes (or promos) from Monday to Thursday. Tuesday was Bloggers' Night. Being a blogger myself (though only writes about my own uninteresting life), decided to go down and have a look.

Went for dinner at the coffeeshop @ Circular Road there. Everyone ordered the 招牌肉挫面线 from the same stall. And PK joined us for dinner as well (surprise surprise...). We (PK, S, XY and me) walked from office down to MICA building to meet FL, then proceed to Circular Road. StupidGenius arrived not long after we reached our venue for dinner.

Once again we played 3 games @ Pitstop. Game 1 was Poison. It was similar to Category 5 we played the other day here. But this time, we are suppose to choose a potion card from our hand and put into one of the 3 coloured cauldrons (red, blue and purple). Each potion card has a point on it and the player who causes the cauldron to go over 13 will take all the cards in the cauldrons. Each cards received gives 1 point. A poison card gives 2 points. However, if the player collects the most number of potion card for a particular colour, then all the cards for that particular colour will not count towards the final score.

Poison

For this game, we decided that game ends when a player reaches 20 points and the player with the least point wins. Here is the final score for the game.

Poison Final Score Card

FL and SG both reaches 20 at the same time. Then FL was complaining that the last time when she won in Category 5, I never take a picture of the final score. Then this time I take picture when she got the most points. But that time no one reminded me to do so lor... S scored the least number of points this time round.

We ordered some finger food as we played our games. The drink was free flow for the day. I like the Seaweed Chicken, but they did not have enough for one serving and had to top it up with Crispy Chicken Fritters, which wasn't that bad as well. Then SW joined us as we were halfway through our games.

Next game we played was Snorta. This is a funny game where everyone chooses the sound of an animal. As each player took turns to flip over the cards on their hand, if there are 2 cards with the same animal on the table, then the player with the 2 cards will have to blurt out the animal sounds of the other players. The first player to do so will give all the cards in their open pile to the other player. The first player to lose all the cards on their hand wins. I won the game this time. But XY kept collecting the cards from the other players as her animal sound is easy to mimic.

Snorta

Finally, the last game we played was Ticket to Ride. A bit lazy to explain the game play here, just click on the above link for more details. What I can say is this game requires a fair bit of thinking. SW, who did not play the game, became the 军师 of XY and FL. FL won in this game.

Ticket to Ride

By the end of the 3 games, think all of us are feeling a bit brain dead. So we just nua down there at the sofa. Our dessert, he ice cream, were served as well. They have 2 new flavors of ice cream, cookies & cream and hokie pokie. Sat down there for quite a while before finally head for home.

Mahjong Session

Went FL's house for MJ session yesterday. Meet up with FL, S, StupidGenius and XY at the MRT Station to go lunch 1st. I was the last to arrive. Went to a nearby Dim Sum cafe for lunch. Then proceed to buy some drinks at a convenient store before going up to FL's place.

Started playing at around 3pm. We played 3/6 half rate. FL was really kind to provide us with a venue to play, even though she don't know how to play the game. We all tried to teach her the basics of the game, and SG even allow her to participate at some points. After 6 hours and 2 rounds later, I found myself $40 richer... :p. S and XY both won $15 as well, making SG the only loser this time round.

Went down to Chinatown for dinner after the MJ session. I used my winnings to treat dinner at 长城 porridge. Went KTV at Oriental Partyworld yet again after dinner.

StupidGenius' Birthday

StupidGenius' birthday was on thursday. He has been reminding everyone this on his blog here, here and here and has published a wishlist for his birthday since some time ago (maybe I should get my list up soon... :D). He really have no qualm about letting everyone knows his age. To fulfil one of his wishes, we (which includes D, DT, FL, I, S, XY and me) decided to give him a pork knuckle dinner treat. We also got him a haversack, a pair of slippers (in which he paid 20cents for it, as there was a saying that we can't give slippers to others as a gift) and a earpiece for his handphone.

We went to Werner's Oven at Siglap. The place is not easy to find for the first time. DT went circling for 2 rounds before finally finding it. It was really a private house being converted into a restaurant. The food here is pretty good but a bit salty. Pork knuckle really big and nice, but I didn't have too much. It was a coincidence that we met FL's brother at the restaurant as well. Furthermore, today was also her brother's birthday.

DT went off after dinner. But the rest of us proceed to The Cheesecake Cafe further down the road for dessert.

The Cheese Cake Cafe

We ordered a few slices of cheese cakes, put some candles on top of them to improvise as a birthday cake. The usual singing of birthday song ensued. The night ended soon after.

Getting Weak Sia

It seems that my body is getting ever weaker. Could it be due to the late nights that I've gone through almost everyday. Am falling sick again, flu package I supposed and having a slight fever as well.

So gotta rest early today. Looks like my backlog of entries is piling up. Hope can wake up feeling better tomorrow... ... ...

Hectic Day

Last Saturday went a lot of places and done quite a few things. First thing in the morning (not so early really), went Traffic Police Department at Ubi to get a replacement for my Driving Licence. Then went to the bank to do some transactions, in which I queued up for like one hour before finally getting it done. By this time it was around 120pm.

Then S called to say we meeting up at 230pm at JE. So gotta rush home to change and quickly come out again. Just managed to catch the train at the right timing. Then arrive at JE only to find that no one had reach. StupidGenius still at JE library, while S at home.

Finally meet up with them, and went searching for bubble tea for S and waffle for me. Stopped and looked at a stall selling watches at a ridiculously cheap price of 3 for $10. Some of the watches looked pretty nice but wonder if how long the watch it would last.

Took a bus down to Bukit Timah Plaza to look for skates. But then there weren't any big skating shop in the area. So no luck in finding anything here. Decided then to go Skateline at Upper Payar Lebar. It was another 1 hour plus of bus journey.

There were another couple and one more family at Skateline trying out new skates when we reached. S looked around trying to find a pair that she likes. She took fancy to a couple of pairs, but one ran out of size and the other looked like the one FL had bought (which we later confirmed that it was the case).

But at least this time she was able to find a pair of skates that she liked and the size was ok. However, the price went up by some $55 compared to the previous day. After some negotiation, she had successfully cut down the price to the one on the previous day. And so finally she bought a new pair of skates, along with the accessories.

After that went for dinner at Chomp Chomp. The 3 of us ordered some 7 different plates of food which includes BBQ Stingray, Satay Bee Hoon, BBQ Chicken Wing, Fried Oyster etc... Wanted to go K after dinner, but the outlets here all closed down. Then saw a shop with the following sign.

This looks interesting. And so we went in. They got 3 rooms for K and also the hall, which has a pool table. We wanted to record some songs, but the system couldn't work. We decided to leave as it was already quite late. Probably will come back again some time later.
